ETA SAYS THAT GOVERNMENT MEMBERS REMAIN TARGETS

Basque terrorist group ETA on Friday announced in its internal bulletin Zutabe that it is excluding from its current cease fire against elected politicians, any members of the current government. It has now also emerged that the group had sent a letter to the International Olympic Committee ahead of the car bomb at the La Peineta stadium as part of their strategy to ensure Madrid was not awarded the 2012 Olympic Games. In the letter the terrorists said their attacks would continue.

Meanwhile it has been revealed that ETA bosses have suspended Francisco Mujika Garmendia, known as Pakito, from their list of militants. It follows his call for the terrorists to abandon the armed struggle. Five other ETA prisoners have also been expelled from the terrorist group.
