WIFE SAYS SHE WARNED POLICE ABOUT MADRID BOMBS THE YEAR BEFORE
The wife of one of those charged in connection with the Madrid bombs on March 11th last year, told the police a year previously that her husband wanted to carry out a terrorist attack in the city. The wife of Mouhannad Almallah gave police the clue on Feb 12th 2003, adding that a series of attacks were being planned. Her husband is currently being held in prison. The revelation comes following the lifting of reporting restrictions in the case.
