Starck Secret drawings. 4,000 sketches unveiled
The Pompidou Centre is to host Starck’s hidden drawings. This artist who established his studio in Ubik in 1979 has designed more than 10,000 projects that revolve around one goal: to create objects that are at the service of their users.
A committed artist who is torn between the mutations of the contemporary world, one of the pioneers in the reclamation of an environmental awareness during the creative process. With this exhibition, Starck takes us to the heart of his creative process through the immersion in thousands of drawings, sketches, and investigations, where the viewers become actors. Design objects are also on display, from the most iconic to the most mundane, such as the juicer Juicy Salif (1989) or the architectural plans for the Maison Heler which will soon open in Metz.
