85. Zamora - Parador de Zamora
This palace, built on the site of a former Roman fortress in the middle of the 15th century, rises up in the historical centre of the province of Zamora and offers the traveller the opportunity to discover all the beauty of the natural, monumental and artistic surroundings of the lands of Zamora. The medieval aroma of the interior, which can be appreciated in armour, noble rugs and attractive four-poster beds, is combined with the Renaissance style of its courtyard, glazed wooden gallery and coats of arms. The restaurant menu offers excellent dishes from traditional recipes.
