Body of man found on waste ground in the Marina Alta

The body of a man in his 40’s has been found on waste land between Pego and Sagra in the Marina Alta.
Police say he has suffered multiple injuries and is the obvious victim of a violent attack, and think that he was killed elsewhere and his body dumped later.
His body was found by some foreign residents out walking their dog in the area yesterday.
He is still to be identified – is about 1,80 tall, large build, brown haired and with a beard, and was wearing jeans and a blue shirt. Some beer cans were also found nearby.
An autopsy is being carried out in Alicante today.
