The Cuban pianist, known for his performances with Ibrahim Ferrer, plays Madrid and Barcelona
The Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca plays in Clamores, Madrid on Thursday and in L’Auditori in Barcelona on Friday.
He’s in Spain to promote his new album, Zamazu, which features guest appearances by Carlinhos Brown, Omara Portuondo and Vicente Amigo.
Roberto Fonseca is a lover of funk and has even performed live with Herbie Hancock, but he is best known as one of the backing musicians to work and go on tour with the deceased Ibrahim Ferrer. The two played more than 400 concerts together.
