Higuera beats the new Murica tram

Spanish athlete, Juan Carlos Higuero, European champion at 1500m on Sunday beat the new Murcia tram in a race against it organised by the City Hall to celebrate the starting of the new tram service.
It took the athlete 5 minutes 51 seconds to run the 1900m of the route along Avenida Juan Carlos 1 in the city, beating the tram by just six seconds.
The new tram will be extended to link the centre of Murcia to the two university campus’ and to the new commercial centres to the west of the city.
