Four immigrant boat passengers treated for hypothermia on reaching Gran Canaria on Sunday

One was admitted to hospital

An immigrant boat carrying 25 passengers from Sub Saharan Africa were escorted to port at Arguineguín on Gran Canaria early on Sunday after the vessel was intercepted off shore.

One was transferred to a health centre to be treated for moderate hypothermia, while another three passengers were treated at the port by personnel from Cruz Roja.
