email this articleThe Police operation remains open and more arrests have not been ruled outA police operation against radical Islamists has resulted in at least 12 arrests, according to the Cadena Ser radio station this morning.
The operation is being controlled by the National Court judge, Baltasar Garzón and the arrests have been made so far in Barcelona, Mataró, Igalada and Santa Coloma de Gramanet.
The group are thought to have recruited new Jihads who would be sent to Iraq and Afghanistan for training.
More arrests have not been ruled out in the case.
