email this article The toll motorway is planned to connect Castilla-La Mancha with Andalucía from Toledo to CórdobaThe Development Ministry and the regional governments of Andalucía and Castilla-La Mancha are to work on a new route for a toll motorway to connect Toledo with Córdoba via Ciudad Real, after the proposed route was shelved as potentially damaging to protected areas.
They include areas classified as ‘critical’ for the conservation of threatened species, amongst them the Iberian Lynx, the Iberian Imperial Eagle, and the Black Stork.
