8 million euros of fake designer goods seized at Algeciras Port

The container, with copies of items by Armani and Dior, was bound for Portugal from China
A joint operation by Civil Guard and Customs Authorities has seized a container at Algeciras Port with 8 million € worth of fake designer goods, including handbags, leather goods and other items.
They include forgeries of items manufactured by Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Gucci and Dior. No arrests were made, but it’s understood that representatives of the brands concerned have presented charges in the case.
The container was en route to Portugal from China.
