Sentencing announced for El Ejido contract killing three years ago

A man who paid another to kill his ex partner has been sentenced to 15 years in prison

Sentencing has been announced in the case of a man accused of paying another to kill his ex partner in El Ejido three years ago.

The Almería provincial court issued a prison term of 15 years against 47 year old Antonio Felipe C.C., as well as a 10 year distancing order to protect the victim’s son.
Also sentenced in the case, was his partner at the time, a Lithuanian woman who received six months for covering up the crime.

The victim, named as C.S.L. from Adra, was killed on 8th July 2004 in the Rebeque area of El Ejido, while she was working in a greenhouse owned by her ex partner, who was arrested in Málaga several days later. Police have unable to identify the person who pulled the trigger.
