The march against coastal development takes place in Águilas this Saturday

A march in defence of the coastline takes place in Águilas this Saturday 7th June, organised by the platform ‘The Murcia Region is not for sale.’ It takes place under the slogan ‘against the lie that construction does not take place within 500 metres of the coast.’

EFE quotes the organisers saying that the protestors will demonstrate against ‘the continued development of the coastline, and the usurpation of protected and natural spaces in favour of destructive residential tourism.’

It sets off from El Hornillo Beach at 6pm.
