She was forced to work as a prostitute in a club in Huércal-Overa

A Romanian woman who had been reported missing by her family two months ago has been freed from an alternative nightclub in Huércal-Overa, where she was forced to work as a prostitute. Europa Press reports that the National Police operation also took five people into custody.

She later told police that she was tricked into coming to Spain by a countryman who told her that he was taking her on a trip to Greece. He was killed in a traffic accident in Budapest a week ago.

Other raids took place on a second club in Huércal-Overa, Roquetas de Mar and Cuevas de Almanzora.
