Civil Guard stable after surgery following motorway accident

The Civil Guard traffic officer who was seriously injured when he was hit by a taxi on the AP-7 motorway in Benalmádena last week is now said to be stable in ICU in the Hospital Clínico in Málaga.
From Jaén, he is recovering from surgery to repair complex fractures in his arms and legs.
His colleague, who is from Málaga, was killed in the accident last Thursday morning.
