email this article The bus radios are tuned to Partido Popular supporting radio stations20 minutos has revealed that bus drivers for the municipal company in Murcia, Latbus, are being obliged to listen to either the COPE or Onda Cero radio stations, both considered to be PP supporters.
The cassette players have been removed and the drivers can no longer tune the station, or alter the volume of the radio.
The Municipal Transport company has admitted that it made the change before the last local elections, claiming that the two stations chosen are the ones wanted by the public.
The drivers say they are starting a protest by declaring Thursday, 'transistor radio day', when they will take their own radios onto the bus and listen to something else.
