email this article It follows the decision of the Socialists in Madrid not to allow a pact in the Navarra region between the Socailists, Na Bai Nationalists and Left Wingers IUThe radical nationalist party in Navarra, Nafarroa Bai, has called for new elections in the region after it was confirmed by the PSOE Socialist party in Madrid that they had vetoed an agreement between the nationalists and the local Socialists in the region.
Na Bai considers that it is not correct that, as they put it, the future of Navarra is decided in Madrid.
It means that the Socialists will now abstain in the vote to re-elect the UPN (or Partido Popular) President for the region, Miguel Sanz.
