There has been another drowning on the beach at Torrevieja, which takes the total of deaths on Alicante beaches this summer to 14.
A 73 year old man died yesterday when swimming on the Playa del Cura.
Local lifeguards only spotted him when his body was spotted floating off shore at 1245.
He was on holiday in the area from Madrid.
