Cudeca is meanwhile taking part in the ‘Voices for Hospices’ event which takes place around the world on 6th October, with more than 500 different performances in 80 countries over a period of 24 hours.
Described as the world’s largest simultaneous musical event, it has three aims: to raise awareness of the needs of people living with a terminal illness and their families; to increase availability of hospice and palliative care across the world; and to raise funds for those services to be developed.
The Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice in Benalmádena has organised three events in Málaga province, all starting at 7.30 pm on 6th October: typical Spanish folk music in Las Lagunas Theatre in Mijas Costa; a performance from the Alminares Choir in the Nerja Cultural Centre; and classical music from the Ensemble Serenata at the Centro Padre de Manuel in Estepona.
