It is the third such case in Almería province in just over a week. The first two could be passengers on an immigrant boat which capsized off the coast last month

The third body in a little more than a week has been brought up in fishing nets off the coast of Almería province.

As with the first two, this latest body is also badly decomposed and is that of an adult male. It was found by ‘La Pastora’ fishing boat off Níjar on Monday morning.

The EFE news agency says investigators believe the first two bodies, which were brought up in nets off San José on 1st and 2nd October, were two passengers on an Algerian patera boat which capsized off Cabo de Gata on 16th September.
