The Customs search of the vehicle came after a sniffer dog discovered cannabis taped to his body

A drug smuggler who crossed over to Spain on the Morocco ferry was arrested at Algeciras Port on Monday, as he tried to get through with 440 grams of cannabis taped to his body. The drugs were detected by a sniffer dog during a routine control at the Customs post.

A search of the suspect’s car then revealed a 24 year old Moroccan man hiding in the boot of the vehicle in an attempt to get into Spain illegally.
