email this articleA German man taken into custody is said to have evaded payment of more than one million €A German man wanted for alleged income tax evasion in his home country was arrested in Orba on Monday and now faces extradition to Germany. The prosecutor in Rostock is asking a five year prison term for the accused.
Named by the EFE news agency as 44 year old Holger D., he is accused of avoiding payment of more than 1 million € of taxes between 1999 and 2002 by supplying false and incomplete information to the authorities.
