Málaga province sees its fourteenth fatal accident at work this year

A 25 year old lorry driver was caught beneath a falling cargo

A lorry driver has died in an accident at work which took place on an urbanisation in San Pedro de Alcántara on Tuesday afternoon.

It happened when some of the pipes he was unloading from the lorry fell on top of him during a delivery to a building site on the Guadalmina Urbanisation. He has been named as 25 year old Raul M.R. and was the youngest of twelve brothers who live in Villanueva de la Concepción.

He becomes the fourteenth fatality at work in Málaga province so far this year.
