Woody Allen in love with Penéope Cruz in Spain

Film Director Woody Allen was so taken by the beauty of Penélope Cruz when they were working together over the summer on the film ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ that he turned into ‘a stammering idiot’.
Contact Music says the quote comes from Allen’s previous muse, Scarlett Johansson, although we don’t know if she is in any way jealous of Allen’s attentions to Penélope.
Johansson says, ‘Without any doubt Woody was incredibly in love with her. He would say something like Uh Uh Uh P- Penélope’.
The film was shot in Barcelona, Oviedo and New York and opens on September 19 next year.
