Cieza security guard arrested for child pornography

A 28 year old security guard from Cieza is in police custody after he sold an MP4 player on eBay and failed to delete images of child abuse he had stored on it. It was reported by the purchaser to police in Salamanca and the man he bought it from was traced through the bank account he supplied for payment.
La Verdad newspaper names him as Mariano G.L., and says police found thousands of images stored on computers, DVDs and CDs in a search of his home. He is said to have admitted to collecting them for years.
He now faces charges of possession and distribution and child pornography. Interpol will meanwhile investigate the source of the material the suspect downloaded.
