New panels are to be installed under an agreement with City Hall and the ONCE organisation for the blind

The Tuesday edition of La Verdad newspaper reports on a new agreement which is to be signed by Murcia City Hall’s transport department and the ONCE organisation for the blind, where new information panels on bus stops in the city will provide bus information to the visually impaired. Two methods are planned: an intercom system, and information sent to mobile phones using Bluetooth technology. The latter would be accessed by contacting a central number, followed by the code assigned to the particular stop.

No definite date was given for the new panels. La Verdad said however that they will be installed over the coming year.
