Disabled man dies in a fire in his home in Lorca

The Civil Guard are investigating the causes of a fire in a house on the outskirts of Aguaderas, south of Lorca, on Wednesday, where a 38 year old disabled man lost his life. EFE said the victim was paraplegic and was alone at home when the fire broke out. The blaze was confined to the bedroom where the man’s body was found in the bed on Wednesday morning.
The last fatal fire in Lorca was in August 2003, when a couple and their three children died in a fire in their home.
