Another ferry route to Algeria could also come to an end

Trasmediterránea are reported to be withdrawing their summer ferry service which operates between Alicante and Ibiza. The new fast ferry started operating from Alicante Port in the summer of 2006, but has not proved to be popular with passengers, with more competitive prices from Dénia, the newspaper Información said on Thursday.

The paper said the ferry company is also considering stopping their summer route from Alicante to Oran, in Algeria.
