The new changes in the PGOU will be passed at the next council meeting

Benidorm Town Hall has announced a modification of the PGOU Urban Plan for the town which means that hotels in the old town will now be able to convert their facilities into offices should they want to do so. The measure will be approved in the next council planning meeting.

Until now the hotels could only convert into tourism apartments, and the significant part of the new change is that the buildings would be taken out of the tourism industry for the first time.
