The masked attacker who stabbed the young woman as she was closing up the shop has yet to be arrested

A five minutes’ silence was held in Conil and Chiclana at noon on Monday, as businesses in both towns closed down to attend the tribute called by the two Town Halls in memory of Dolores Amaya Ramírez, the 25 year old shop assistant who was stabbed to death at a mattress and bedding shop in the centre of Chiclana last Thursday.

She was from Conil and was stabbed in the side just as she was closing up for the night by a masked attacker who has yet to be identified.

Her funeral took place on Saturday in Conil de la Frontera.
