Woman found dead at mouth of Segura River

An autopsy is to take place on the body of a woman found at the mouth of the Segura River in Guardamar del Segura on Monday. Her body was found on the left bank, close to an Austrian-registered van bogged down in the ground nearby, There were no visible signs of violence, EFE said.
Speaking to the press on Monday, the central government delegate for Alicante province, Encarna Linares, said the woman is probably aged between 25 and 30 and could be foreign. No further information on her identity is available at present.
