As investigations continue into the identity of the woman who was found dead at the mouth of the Segura River on Monday, Europa Press reports of another body which was found floating in the water near the Nautical Club in Benidorm on Monday evening. It is now known, according to sources quoted by EFE, that the body is that of a 69 year old man who fell into the water as he was preparing to set up to fish from the cliff. His name has not been given in the report.
The Información newspaper meanwhile reports that the body of the woman found dead on the left bank of the Segura River, at its mouth in Guardamar del Segura, on Monday morning was naked, and that her clothes were inside the van found parked nearby. The vehicle is reported to be registered in Austria, and it’s believed that she may also be foreign.
Her age is put at between 25 and 30.
