Four children seriously hurt in bouncy castle accident

It happened at a service station on the A-4 road in Jaén on Saturday

Four children, aged between four and eight, are now in hospital in a serious condition, and two more are slightly injuried, after a gust of wind caused a bouncy castle to collapse.

It happened at a services area on the A-4 road near to Marmolejo in Jaén on Saturday, and is being put down to the attraction not being securely fixed to the ground.

The four seriously hurt were admitted to the Alto Guadalquivir Hospital in Andújar with fractures and other injuries.

The province of Jaén has been on a yellow weather alert for high winds, with gusts of upto 70km/hour.
