email this article The driver from Asturias thought it was a just result in a race won by RaikkonenFernando Alonso could do no better than eighth place in the Malaysian Grand Prix this morning after starting seventh on the grid after the two McLarens suffered a five place penalty on the grid after an incident in practice.
The race was won by Kimi Raikkonen in his Ferrari, Robert Kubica was second and Heiikki Kovoalainen was third.
Speaking to Telecinco after the race, Fernando lamented that he lost some positions in the start. He said the eighth place was a just one, with the car sometimes performing as well as the others on the track, particularly at the start of the race, and that, he said, was better than he expected.
