84 year old Antonio Jiménez Ocaña was buried on Tuesday

The funeral took place in the Málaga village of Almargen on Tuesday for Antonio Jiménez Ocaña, the 84 year old man who was reported missing last Friday and who was found dead on Monday afternoon. His body was found by chance when the structure around a disused well was demolished as part of building work taking place, and the pensioner’s body was found inside.

The local Mayor, Vicente Jiménez, said after the discovery that no-one knew the well was there.

He was buried after the autopsy on Tuesday morning, and it’s understood that the judge already has the results. The details have not been released to the press, but EFE quotes sources saying possible causes of death are under investigation as accidental or suicide.
