Madrid sends a kiss to the world

Thousands of people are expected to turn up at what is being called a ‘Besada Masiva’ – Massive kiss-in, which has been organised for 8pm on Thursday night in the Plaza de la Luna in the centre of Madrid.
The event is organised by Desigual Kiss Madrid, who say the idea is to ‘give and receive typical, atypical and spontaneous kisses’ and at the end of the event everyone present will be asked to send ‘a kiss to the world’ from Madrid.
A similar event held in Barcelona last May saw thousands of people pack into the Born district of the city.
