The Spaniard said that he could not find his game

Once again Rafa Nadal has failed to win the final of the Miami Open, beaten by Nikolay Davydenko 6-4, 6-2. Two extra strings added to his racket were said to be responsible for the Russian’s success in winning the 12th title of his career in just under an hour and a half.

After the game Nadal said that he had not played well, and if you are not 100% against one of the best players of the world, it’s complicated to win, especially on a hardcourt. ‘I just could not find by rhythm of play on the court’, he said.

Rafa Nadal had earlier beaten Tomas Berdych in the semi final of the Miami masters to reach the final of the tournament. The semi-final score was 7-6, 6-2.
