More bilingual education on the Costa del Sol

Classes are to be taught in English as more schools join the scheme

A third of the colleges and institutes on the Costa de Sol will be bilingual from the next academic year. The CEIP Jacaranda in Benalmádena and the new institute at Las Lagunas are two which have applied to join the scheme which will see two subjects taught in a foreign language, usually English.

Along the Costa del Sol more than 7,300 pupils public education in Fuengirola, Mijas and Benalmádena will combine their classes in Castellano and English from September.
