Stepfather arrested again for the murder of Yulisa Antonia Pérez

The step father of the 18 year old Domincan woman, Yulisa Antonia Pérez who was found dead on Lanzarote on November 13th, has been arrested, according to police sources.
The family had considered him suspicious for a time but now Antonio Luis Ferreira Machado has been arrested for a second time. He had been detained on the day when the body was found and then needed police protection when a group of the Dominican community tried to lynch him.
The half-buried body of the 18 year old girl was found by a resident of Arrecife when out walking his dogs close to a rubbish tip at Argana Alta. She had been living with her mother and her step father in the Los Geronios area of the town for some six months.
The step father was released from custody on the first occasion because of a lack of evidence but now DNA evidence has proven that he moved the body of the victim in his vehicle.
