The man who set fire to himself in the street in Almería last Friday has died from his injuries. The 47 year old named as Antonio José N.G. had been taken to the specialist burns unit of the Virgen del Rocio Hospital in Sevilla with 82% burns to his body after he had poured petrol over himself and then set fire to himself.
The flames were put out by some construction workers who rushed to his aid. Reports say that he had been suffering from depression for some time.
