Real Madrid win their 31st league title.

Goals from Robben and Higaín at the Reyno de Navarra stadium amounted to a dramatic fight back for Real Madrid at Osasuna to win the Spanish league. The score was 1-2 – with Osasuna ahead until seven minutes from the end, with Real Madrid scoring twice in the last five minutes.
It’s the 31st time that Real Madrid have won the Primera Liga, and it means that Barcelona have the embarrassment of forming a guard of honour for them ahead of the match between the Spanish arch-rivals this Wednesday.
Celebrations broke out in Madrid with the Cibeles fountain, as usual, at the centre of the action. It was Raúl who climbed the statue to place a real Madrid scarf and Spanish flag to celebrate the league title.

Valencia are just two points from relegation, with three games left in the season after being pounded 6-0 at Barcelona. The vital relegation clash for Valencia comes at their next match against Zaragoza.

Murcia have been relegated after being beaten 3-2 by Racing Santander. It was a particularly hard defeat for Murcia, given that they were dominating the game 0-2 in the first half.

Despite not being able to put weight on his foot, Jorge Lorenzo came up with the fourth best time in practice on the official practice session for the Chinese Moto GP. He was also fourth in the race itself, which was won by Valentino Rossi showing a needed return to form and his first win of the season. Spaniard Dani Pedrosa was second and the only once close to the Italian.

Rafa Nadal has won his fourth Conde de Godó title in Barcelona. The World number two made history by becoming the first person to win the clay court championship for four consecutive years. He beat David Ferrer in the final 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.
