The device was hidden under a car, but caused no injuries.

An explosive device, hidden under a four wheel drive car, went off on Saturday in Almería. The vehicle was occupied by a married couple and their three daughters aged 5-12 at the time, but all escaped unhurt.

Police think that the explosion is part of a war between families of rival Gypsy clans, with the family now affected having accused a rival clan of a shooting against them in August last year.

Police think that drug trafficking is at the centre of the argument.
First indications are that the device was home-made, and of low power.
