A 54 year old woman fell to her death from her 12th floor flat in Benidorm earlier this week.

The man who was arrested after his wife fell to her death from the 12th floor balcony of her home in Benidorm, has now been released without charges by the National Police.
The release comes after a witness reported to the police that he saw how the woman jumped off her terrace, allegedly committing suicide.

An autopsy carried out on the body of the 54 year old woman, originally from San Sebastián, had previously proved inconclusive as to whether she had been involved in any sort of struggle before her fall, and police say they are still assimilating evidence as their investigations continue.

It was previously confirmed that the victim had presented a domestic violence complaint against her partner, who has a previous record for such abuse, and neighbours report that arguments between the couple were common.
