Two electrical workers die when overcome by fumes

Two workers have died after falling into a four metre hole in Tenerife and being overcome by toxic gas. The two were carrying out electrical maintenance work on a transformer in the Güímar industrial estate when the accident happened just before noon today.
The fire service had to be called for the bodies to be recovered.
