Despite current financial cut-backs, the Town Hall is to spend 14.3 million.

Marbella Town Hall has announced, despite the current austerity program in the ayuntamiento, that it is to spend 14.3 million € on improvements to the historic centre of the town.

The Town Hall is to use a 10 million € grant from the Economy Ministry to carry out the work which will see road and access improvements, more public lighting, with better and more sustainable transport systems.

New public parks are to be created in Las Albarizas and at the end of Calle Vicente, and power cables in the area are to be placed underground.
