The man says it happened because of the erotic charge in the consulting room.

A Madrid doctor who is facing charges of sexually abusing seven of his patients, has told the Provincial Court that it happened because of the ‘erotic charge’ in the consulting room. He said that his caused patients to look for guilty parties which simply do not exist.

Dr. Miguel Ángel Lobo is accused of carrying out the abuse on seven on his patients between the years 2002 and 2004, with one of them claiming that he put his fingers in her vagina. The doctor is alleged to have told her that he had to carry out ‘a complete treatment for her to get better’.

If found guilty the doctor faces a ten year prison sentence, 18 months on each count, plus the payment of 4,000 € compensation to each of his victims.

Those bringing the case say they only want the doctor to lose his job so that he cannot abuse anyone else.
