email this article A 20 second cinema spot is to be shown to British audiences this weekend as they settle down to see Indiana Jones.A new advertising campaign to promote the Costa Blanca is being shown this weekend in cinemas in Britain. As audiences wait to see the latest Indiana Jones film in some 1,421 cinemas across the country, they will see a twenty second film which shows a series of photographs and images from Alicante, Benidorm and Calpe on the Costa Blanca, including also images of golf.
It’s a new strategy for the Alicante provincial tourism office who say the spot will be shown mostly in cinemas in London, Midlands, Central Scotland and Lancashire. The spot will be shown 99,000 times in total and the campaign has cost just over 210,000 €.
