Catalan party ERC votes new leadership

The two man team of Joan Puigcercós and Joan Ridao are to lead the Esquerra republicana Catalan left wing party, as President and General Secretary respectively.
It comes after a party vote on the leadership with the critical voice of Joan Carretero coming in second in the votes, ten points behind the leading candidate of Puigcercós. More than 70% of the 9,900 party activists with the right to vote did so.
