The man was stopped at a control driving a car registered in his wife's name.

The court in Elche yesterday heard the case of the driver who was stopped by police and who admitted that he had been driving for 30 years without a licence.

The rapid justice case saw the man being ordered to prison for three months, but that is suspended as he has no previous record.

The man was driving a car registered in the name of his wife, who had passed her driving test and does have a licence.
