Reporting restrictions have been imposed in the case of the death of a 40 year old man in Madroñera in Cáceres.

The Government Delegate in Extremadura, Carme Pereira, has said that investigations have been opened to see whether a 12 year old boy is implicated in the death of a man at the hands of his ex partner. The boy is the son of the woman concerned in the case which is based in Madroñera in Cáceres.

The man died after an argument with his ex partner ended in a fight with knives. The 40 year old man had a distancing order issued against him and had arrived at his ex girlfriend’s home as she was about to set out on a trip. The woman was injured in the fight and the man died.

The 12 year old child is from an earlier relationship the woman had with another man. Instruction judge 1 in Trujillo has issued reporting restrictions in the case and is continuing to take witness statements.
